Trancoso House is an entire home for families and groups of friends who want to be close to everything and still enjoy some peace. It sits on a quiet street in the village centre, 300 metres from the Quadrado and about 1 km from Coqueiros Beach.
There are 4 air-conditioned suites, a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen and a large veranda surrounded by greenery, with a small plunge pool with jets for unwinding after the beach. Pets are welcome on request.

The only detached room in the house. Bright and airy, modern with rustic touches, with the shower and basins built into the room itself. The private veranda is perfect for a quiet morning coffee.
The largest room in the house. A queen bed with a canopy net, a desk and a showpiece bathroom: a basin carved from a wooden gamela bowl on hydraulic tiles, plus a small indoor garden.
A four-poster bed with netting, a basin carved from a single piece of wood and an antique writing desk. One window looks onto the inner garden, which makes the room especially calm.
A tribute to the free spirit that shaped the village: a low cement bed with netting, a lower, cosy ceiling and a wooden Buddha brought from Thailand.
On a quiet street in central Trancoso. The Quadrado is a 5–8 minute walk (a shorter route with a steep slope, or a gentler one) and Coqueiros Beach is about 12 minutes on foot.
From Porto Seguro airport it takes about 1h30, either by road (80 km) or via the ferry to Arraial d'Ajuda (30 km). Taxis and Uber are easy to find; you can also take a taxi to the ferry and catch a bus or van to Trancoso on the other side (until 6 pm).

We're Cris and Jorge, she's Brazilian and he's Spanish. We've been hosting guests in Trancoso since 2014, when we restored this old fisherman's house, and were among the first in the village to welcome guests this way.
Today the whole house is for your group. We live nearby and are happy to help with tips, tours and anything you need. Some very relaxed cats live at the house, so please bear that in mind if anyone has allergies.
